This information booklet is designed to share with you our vision of educating, and empowering health care professionals to contribute in the advancement of the medical industry, both locally and globally.

As a private career college, we assure you a comfortable and positive learning environment. Specializing in Laboratory Sciences, Rehabilitation, and Support work, our staff and faculty are dedicated to upholding the quality of each program taught at metro college, and are committed to maintaining a supportive atmosphere. When metro college first opened in November of 2009, we were excited to have a full class of students from all around the country eager to become health care professionals and to start their new life in Canada; it was obvious for both metro college and for students that this was just the beginning of great things to follow. Many of our first graduates have continued on their chosen careers and now successfully gained employment here in Jamaica and several others are preparing to go overseas to work as caregivers. We are humbled to have helped them start their journey in Canada, and to see them become active and vital members of the Canada Health Care System.

Approaching our 3rd year of operation, we are proud of our legacy as we continue to train students from different cultural, educational and financial backgrounds. We welcome and embrace the diversity of their individual needs with compassion and care, and are equally excited to watch them learn and succeed!All of our student advisors are up-to-date on program knowledge experience in objectively and honestly offering the best academic counseling and assistance possible. All of our advisors are student-driven and non-commission based, allowing each student to feel confident and comfortable with the decisions they make for them- selves and their future careers.

Our highly qualified faculty and staff provide exceptional expertise and guidance in each student`s education and training; much effort has been put into the design of our simulated, real life clinical settings, offering hands- on experience within our fully equipped diagnostic laboratories centers.

In addition,Metro College has now partnered with the recognized Robetech institute both internationally and provincially by the Ontario Association of Career Colleges and the National Association of career College. Student of the Medical Laboratory Technician program are eligible to sit for the Ontario Society of Career College Technologists and Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science certification exams. Our Live-in Caregiver program recognized worldwide as providing a high-standard of training for support care.
